Drain Relining

When a drain has multiple cracks, open joints or root ingress along its length, patching each defect separately stops making sense. Drain relining renews the whole run in one operation: a resin-saturated liner is installed through the existing pipe, inflated against the wall and cured into a new structural pipe inside the old one. No trench, no broken driveway, and a finished bore that is smoother than the pipe it replaced.

How a reline actually goes

• Survey first: a CCTV survey maps the run and confirms lining is the right fix - a liner cannot rescue a collapsed or badly back-falling pipe, and we will say so.
• Preparation: high-pressure jetting and, where needed, robotic cutting to remove roots and scale, so the resin bonds to clean pipe wall.
• Installation and cure: the impregnated liner goes in through existing access points and is inflated at a controlled pressure until cured.
• Reopening and verification: lateral connections are reopened with a robotic cutter, and a post-lining CCTV survey records the finished bore end to end. You get that footage - the repair is verified on camera, not asserted.

Materials and standards

We install BSI-tested liner systems with a 50-year design life, and every reline is documented with before and after footage and a WRc-coded report. Where damage is confined to a single joint or crack, a patch repair is cheaper and we will recommend it instead; where the pipe has lost its shape entirely, excavation and replacement is the honest answer.
