Honesty & Transparency First
At CleverWorks, we believe in treating your home or business with the utmost care. Dealing with drainage issues is stressful, and our goal is to resolve them as quickly and permanently as possible.
However, we also believe in complete transparency. Drainage systems are complex, underground networks that degrade over time. Because of this, it is important to understand how our warranties work and what they cover.
The Reality of Aging Drainage Systems
When a drainage system begins to fail due to age, ground movement, or root ingress, issues often appear simultaneously in multiple locations.
Fixing one specific section of a pipe does not guarantee that a new issue won't emerge somewhere else in a different part of the property's pipework.
We will always do our best to identify all current issues during a CCTV survey, but we can only guarantee the specific sections we have actively repaired or replaced.
How Our Warranties Apply
Drain Jetting & Unblocking
High-pressure water jetting is highly effective at clearing blockages. However, jetting treats the symptom, not the underlying cause.
If a drain blocks because of a collapsed pipe, severe root ingress, or a displaced joint, jetting will only provide temporary relief. A re-blockage is completely normal if the underlying structural issue (usually found after a jet and CCTV inspection) is not resolved.
Warranty Status: We guarantee the drain is clear at the time of service. We cannot guarantee against future blockages unless the structural defect causing them is repaired.
Patch Lining & Full Relining
Our no-dig patch lining and structural relining services provide a durable, long-lasting fix for cracked or damaged pipes.
Please note: Our guarantee covers the specific portion of the pipework which was repaired only. It does not cover the sections of pipework before or after the repaired section, which may still degrade over time.
Warranty Status: We provide a comprehensive 10-year guarantee on the structural integrity of the installed patch or liner itself.
Drain Excavation & New Installations
For severe collapses where relining is not possible, we perform full excavations to replace the damaged pipework with modern, durable materials.
As with our lining services, the warranty applies strictly to the newly installed sections of pipework and the joints we have created. We cannot warrant the older, existing pipework that connects to the new installation.
Warranty Status: All new pipework installations and excavations come with a standard 10-year guarantee on materials and workmanship for the replaced section.
