Patch Lining

Most damaged drains are not damaged everywhere. A displaced joint at three metres, a radial crack at six, one point of root ingress - and the rest of the run sound. Patch lining repairs exactly that: a fibreglass and resin patch is positioned over the defect on an inflatable packer, pressed against the pipe wall until cured, and permanently bonded in place. The repair takes hours, needs no digging, and costs a fraction of a full reline.

The process, start to finish

• Locate: the CCTV survey fixes the defect's exact position and depth - the patch is cut and placed to it.
• Prepare: high-pressure jetting cleans and descales the pipe so the resin bonds to sound material, with root cutting where needed.
• Install and cure: the packer carries the resin-impregnated patch to position, inflates, and holds until the resin cures - typically within the hour.
• Verify: a post-repair CCTV pass records every patch in place. We film each repair after installation as standard; you receive the footage with the completion report.

Patch, liner or dig?

One or two isolated defects: patch. Damage along the length of the run: a full reline is better value than patching repeatedly. A pipe that has collapsed or lost its fall: excavation is the only fix that works. The survey decides - we quote the repair the footage supports, in writing, before any work starts.
