Crawler units, not just push rods

Push-rod cameras stop being useful as pipe diameters grow. Our robotic crawler units drive through large-diameter mains, culverts and attenuation systems under their own power, carrying HD cameras and lighting sized for the bore - and returning the steady, centred, gradeable footage that adoption inspectors and asset owners require. Every survey is coded to MSCC5 and issued in the format the receiving authority works to.

Adoption and handover surveys: the pre- and post-construction CCTV evidence Section 104 and Section 106 agreements require, coded and formatted for the water authority.
Construction-phase verification: new runs surveyed as they are laid and before they are buried, so defects are corrected while the trench is still open - not discovered at handover.

What size pipes can your crawler units survey?

From standard 150mm mains up to large-diameter trunk sewers, culverts and attenuation systems - the crawler, camera and lighting are selected for the bore. Tell us the diameters on the drawing and we will confirm the kit.

Do you provide Section 104 adoption surveys?

Yes - pre- and post-construction CCTV surveys coded to MSCC5 and issued in the format water authorities require for adoption and connection agreements.

Can you work on CDM sites with our induction and permit systems?

Yes. RAMS are issued in advance, engineers attend inductions, and we work to your permit and exclusion-zone arrangements. This is most of what we do on infrastructure work.

Can defects found during construction be fixed before handover?

That is the point of construction-phase surveying - runs are camera-checked before backfill or before handover, so a displaced joint is fixed while access is easy rather than after the inspector finds it.
