Choosing a skid
A skid supports the camera head within the pipe. Its fit depends on the camera body, the available mounting length and the skid’s outside diameter.
Check the actual pipe bore and allow clearance for the skid. If you’re unsure about a measurement, include a note with your enquiry. Read how we use camera skids
What to measure
Measure the camera diameter, seating length and required skid outside diameter in millimetres.

- Measure across the camera body where the skid will sit.

- Measure the straight mounting area available along the camera.
- Skid outside diameter
- Tell us the finished outside size you need. Allow for the pipe’s actual bore and clearance.
